Updating DCP automatic/manual/errors

Updating the DCP will be done automatically on startup if a new version is available.

If the DCP installation manifest contains an error , automatic updates will stop functioning.

Unfortunately an occasional error has crept in, most recently with version 1.43.0.2655 for BPC/BPM version of DCP.

You can check the installed version of the DCP by opening the 'About' Page.

You can also Check for updates manually on the About page.

If during update, an error occurs such as below, then the easiest option is to uninstall the DCP and reinstall.

Could not retrieve new version of the application Reason:

An application for this deployment is already installed with a different application identity.
