Growl for Windows is a Windows-compatible version of Growl, a notification system for Mac OS X.
Put simply, Growl lets you know when things happen.
DCP supports Growl Notifications.
DO NOT install growl in terminal services. Growl can only run one instance per machine.
To Install Growl for Windows - download Growl from www.growlforwindows.com/gfw/default.aspx
Restart the DCP after you have installed Growl.
DCP will 'Growl' about certain prompts - all of which is completely customisable.

When you restart the DCP it will register for Growl Notifications with your running instance of Growl for Windows.
DCP Notifications for Immunisations and Recalls (disabled within Growl by default and have an asterix in description) can simply be enabled within Growl by clicking on the notification type and changing Enabled to true.

Other DCP notifications need to be enabled individually in the DCP Settings.
For example - if you want to be 'growled' about Annual Health Care Assessment.
Open the DCP Settings (Right click on DCP tray Icon), scroll to MBS Items, and set Growl To True for AHA.

The DCP will Growl Every minute for 3 seconds by default.
Growl is a fantastic way to help enforce DCP prompts.
