Errors on the latest build caused the DCP to throw frequent errors today. Working without the DCP felt like I was deprived of a helper that normally does a large part of my work.
I really missed having the prompts to guide me. Trying to manage preventive care, without the DCP, seemed tedious and difficult by comparison. This was something that I had forgotten to some degree over the last six months whilst using the software.
It made me realise that the DCP may also have become essential to many other GP's using the program. From this experience I have resolved to ensure more thorough testing of the DCP prior to uploading the new builds. I dont want to be caught out like that or disappoint other users again.
I will fix the errors and upload new builds. In future I will look into improving error handling and reporting. The easiest solution is to include email sending of error dumps from the program.
Cheers
Anton
